- I have a Hayes Accura 288 V. 34 + Fax modem that was originally bought
- for a Mac. I am trying to use it on my PC. It has a serial port on
- the back labled DTE but Win95 can't seem to find the modem. When I
- install it the lights on the front flash so I know it is getting the
- signal from the computer. Win95 insists that no modem is installed
- and another non-Win95 comm program claims it cannot initialize the
- modem either.
-
- Can I use this modem with a PC, do I need another type of cable or do
- I need to rewire a standard cable? Any help would be appreciated.
