  11. I have a Hayes Accura 288 V. 34 + Fax modem that was originally bought
  12. for a Mac.  I am trying to use it on my PC.  It has a serial port on
  13. the back labled DTE but Win95 can't seem to find the modem.  When I
  14. install it the lights on the front flash so I know it is getting the
  15. signal from the computer.  Win95 insists that no modem is installed
  16. and another non-Win95 comm program claims it cannot initialize the
  17. modem either.

  19. Can I use this modem with a PC, do I need another type of cable or do
  20. I need to rewire a standard cable?  Any help would be appreciated.
